Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
June 13, 2005

Telephone conference call was called to order at 2:44 pm EST.

Roll Call

Executive Committee Members participating in the call: Terry McNinch MI LTAP (President), Bruce Drewes (Secretary), ID LTAP, Jim Burati, SC LTAP, Lisa Harris, KS LTAP, Marie Walsh, LA LTAP, and Ken Skorseth, SD LTAP

Others participating in the call: None

Executive Committee Members not participating in the call: Linda Howe-Steiger, CA LTAP, Chris Ahmadjian, MA LTAP, , Ed Stellfox, MD LTAP, Evan Hong, CA TTAP

Approve Agenda

A motion was made to approve the agenda. A request was made to move the topic of the International T² Conference Update to the end of the agenda. This request was approved, the agenda was modified and the motion was seconded. The motion passed as modified.

Old Business

1. 2006 LTAP Summer Meeting Update - Marie Walsh: No new information on the 2006 LTAP Conference. Marie and Bruce will discuss the International Conference Agenda and outline a committee to work on the LTAP part of that agenda.
2. 2005 LTAP Summer Meeting Update - Lisa Harris: One copy of the conference brochure was sent to each of the LTAP Centers. The way that the conference information is distributed may need to be discussed for future conferences. Susan Miller N. Central Region Vice President for NACE will attend the summer meeting, according to Terry. Bruce indicated that the President for NTTD is planning on attending the summer meeting.
3. Partnership Liaison Guidelines Update - Bruce Drewes: Liaison Guidelines for the liaison to NACE and APWA have been signed and are waiting for the Liaison for AASHTO and the Salt Institute. Bruce will contact Doyt and Russ this week.
4. R&R status report - Terry: Nothing new
5. InterTraffic 2005 - Ed Stellfox: Press release issued. NLTAPA listed on InterTraffic web page, with link and a link from NLTAPA website to the InterTraffic web page.
6. New Chair for ACP: Marie Walsh will assume the position of chair of the Advisory Committee on Partnering.

New Business

1. AASHTO Anti Icing CD - License issues - Terry: Recommend: Clearinghouse surveys centers for needs, Clearinghouse replicates the CD and packaging, Clearinghouse distributes to interested centers. Centers deal with the AASHTO $100 license fee when required (non NACE members). Terry will ask Al to implement this contact.
2. Regional meeting update: The single page organizational structure of NLTAPA was presented at the regional meeting in Regions Four, Five, Nine and Ten and should be discussed at the Regional meeting in One this week. The responses have been supportive and the E.C. will move forward to complete this document.
3. Draft NLTAPA Organizational Structure:
   1. First page - with the positive responses from the regions that have discussed this document, the E.C. will start working on the sub-topics and actives.
   2. Sub topics - the sub groups that are assigned to each of the six points will need to develop the sub-topics and actives by the June 24 conference call.

Old Business

1. International T² Conference Update-Bruce: The proposed agenda for the International Conference was provided to the E.C.. The agenda shows two tracks, one for the International Community and LTAP Directors and a second track for other staff that will be attending the conference. Bruce and Marie will be asking for input into the second track from the LTAP community.
