"This training is part of the ""Pavement Preservation Treatment"" series and is designed to provide participants with information on preservation treatment selection. The training draws on the Pavement Preservation Treatment Construction Guide (PPTCG) - which was created by FHWA - in partnership with Caltrans - the National Center for Pavement Preservation - and the Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council (TCCC) as a resource for agency and industry pavement preservation practitioners. It provides information on basic pavement preservation concepts and the different treatments available and how they should be applied - so agencies can make informed decisions when determining which treatments best fit their pavement preservation needs. The training is primarily targeted at individuals unfamiliar with pavement preservation policy and technical information.
