Build a Better Mousetrap
The Build a Better Mousetrap Competition's purpose is to collect and disseminate real world examples of best practices, tips from the field, and assist in the transfer of technology. The competition is a fantastic way for innovative ideas to be exchanged with others that may benefit from different concepts and perspectives. It is also a great way for local and county transportation workers and other LTAP/TTAP clients to get some well earned recognition for their hard work.
If you are interested in holding a Build a Better Mousetrap Competition at your Center please download the comprehensive planning guide we created for you below. Centers that hold competitions can enter their winner into the Build a Better Mousetrap National Competition; the winner of the national competition is announced at the LTAP/TTAP national conference. All entries submitted at a Center and at a national level will be included in the annual electronic booklet.
For any questions regarding the Build a Better Mousetrap program please contact Susan Monahan at smonahan@artba.org or (202) 289-4434. All submissions to the annual national competition will be available in an electronic booklet through the LTAP/TTAP website and the LTAP/TTAP resource database.
