What is the Build a Better Mousetrap National Competition?

The Build a Better Mousetrap National Competition highlights innovative solutions to everyday problems and issues that local and tribal transportation workers and other LTAP/TTAP clients encounter. They can range from the development of tools, equipment modifications, and/or processes that increase safety, reduce cost, improve efficiency and the quality of transportation.

How are the winners selected?

The National Competition is judged on the criteria listed below:

Winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges. All entries will be posted on LTAP.org and compiled into an electronic booklet for you and your clients to learn more about the best practices from around the country.

Please submit your entry online at LTAP.org in the 'Forms' section located in the Centers Only Area (please note that this will require you to log-in with your Centers Only username and password). Entries must be submitted no later than Friday, June 19, 2015. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse at LTAP@artba.org.
